Volunteers are provided free room and board throughout their stay, but they must work on the farm each day in return. You can stay for a brief period of one week, or you can sign on for a more extended time up and stay up to a full year. WWOOF sponsors farms in 53 countries, so you’re sure to find a location that interests you.

Sudan Volunteer Programme

You don’t need any special qualifications to join this program and volunteer to teach English to residents in this community. In exchange for teaching in a local school or university, you’ll receive a free place to stay, free meals, and a modest monthly income. Volunteers in the program also can help this impoverished community in other ways during their stay.

Go Abroad

You’ll have the opportunity to experience a variety of different cultures with Go Abroad. They will help you connect with a volunteer opportunity that will take you to several other locations during your tour of service. You’ll participate in a different project in each location, giving you a wealth of experience in a short time. You’ll get to work in animal conservation, ecology, women’s health, education, and many more different causes as you move from location to location.
